To foster independent foreign trade brands in Zhejiang, build new competitive edges in trade and advance high-quality trade development, the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province launched the application and evaluation for the 2020 "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand" in August of last year, in accordance with the Notice on the Cultivation of 2020 "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand". After multiple rounds of review, list verification and public notice, the final list of 2020 "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand" was released. The brand KEG of Ningbo KandE Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. successfully passed the re-evaluation for Zhejiang Export Famous Brand.

In 2020, amid the severe global COVID-19 pandemic, KandE Electric prioritized epidemic prevention while promoting work resumption to minimize losses. It delivered outstanding results under the national policy of stabilizing foreign trade. The enterprise has been consecutively awarded titles of China’s Top 10 Refrigerator & Freezer Exporters and China’s Top 10 Washing Machine Exporters for years.

The "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand" program requires strict assessment of applicants from six dimensions: scientific and technological innovation capability, international standardization of production, market performance and consumer recognition, global operation capability, intellectual property protection and social evaluation. Selected brands are leading export enterprises with Zhejiang local characteristics, superior quality, independent technology and strong competitiveness. For market sales evaluation, applicants must achieve export volume ranking among the top of the national industry in the previous year.
